MargieSturgeonFishing--Ms_pics

Margie's pictures on her 35mm camera. This was the day that she and Shawn introduced Dad to Sturgeon fishing. Sturgeon are only legal if they are longer than 42 inches and shorter than 60 inches or longer than some other big number. The story is that there are sturgeon around that are 10 feet long or more that are so scarey that divers hired to clean crud off the generator turbines in the Colombia won't go back down after they have had a brush with a big one. So, we caught several fish that were about 41 inches. There was one that stretched to 42 1/2 inches, so we kept it. It produced several pounds of fillet. Some is in the freezer, yet. We had one meal of fish sticks, made by cutting the fillets into strips and battering them with eggs and corn flakes and such. Yum!
