Grandfather Kadooka on the right, Mrs. Kadooka on the left. This bananna tree had been written up in the local West Hawaii Today newspaper because it's two bunches of banannas on one stalk is quite rare. Debbie and I had no idea we would meet the fellow who grew the tree when we read the article.
